How to buy an e-vignette?
A valid e-vignette for the correct toll-rate category is mandatory for all motor vehicles with a maximum permissible weight of up to 3500 kilograms when entering a toll road. This means that the e-vignette must be paid for before you enter the motorway or expressway.
You can easily buy an e-vignette from the comfort of your living room in our online shop in a quick and simple way. E-vignettes can also be purchased at DARS points of sale (DarsGo services) or at authorised dealers.

Select the vehicle toll class and the e-vignette type
Select the toll class of the vehicle that the e-vignette will be used for and whether you need an annual, semi-annual, monthly or weekly e-vignette.
Enter your email address.
After you enter your e-mail address, we will send you a confirmation mail containing a link to proceed with your purchase.
Enter the vehicle registration number and select the start date of the e-vignette validity
Enter the country of registration and the registration number of the vehicle for which the e-vignette is being purchased. You need to repeat this step to minimise the possibility of errors in the entered data. It is recommended to carefully check whether the licence plate number of the vehicle is entered correctly. If the registration number in the system does not match the vehicle registration number, the toll for the vehicle will not be paid, which is an offence with a fine imposed. Select when your e-vignette should become valid. You can choose immediate validity or select any day up to 30 days from the date of purchase as a validity start date.
Pay and receive the invoice and proof of purchase.
Select a payment method and enter the required information. After your purchase is confirmed, you will receive an invoice and proof of the e-vignette purchase by email. If you have registered, both documents will be available directly in your online shop user account. This will conclude the purchase.

Purchase with a quotation

Registered customers have an option to buy one or more e-vignettes with a quotation and bank transfer payment. The customer will receive a quotation containing complete payment information by email.
Immediately valid e-vignettes cannot be purchased with a quotation. The earliest possible start date of the e-vignette validity in this case is four working days from the quotation date, since the e-vignette only becomes valid when Dars receives the payment in its transaction account and links it to the quotation. In this case, the e-vignette becomes valid on the date selected by the customer in the purchase process. The customer has access to the invoice and proof of the e-vignette purchase through the user account in the online shop.
The quotation validity period is given in the quotation. If the quotation is not paid in time, it is cancelled and any payments received after the quotation expires will be returned to the customer’s bank account, minus the refund processing costs. Refund processing costs are provided in the DARS price list.
Make sure you enter a correct reference number and the payment amount when paying with a bank transfer. If you provide an incorrect reference number, your payment may not be linked to your quotation in time and your e-vignettes will not be created. Your e-vignettes will also not be created if you enter an incorrect payment amount.
1. Enter the CORRECT country of registration and the registration number of the vehicle for which you are buying an e-vignette.
Please carefully check all the entered information again before confirming the purchase. If the information is incorrect and does not match the vehicle registration number, the toll will not be paid, which is an offence under the Road Tolling Act, with an imposed fine of 300 EUR.
2. Select the CORRECT toll-rate category for the vehicle for which you are buying an e-vignette.
If you buy an e-vignette for the wrong toll-rate category, the toll will not be paid, which is an offence under the Road Tolling Act, with an imposed fine of 300 EUR. If you are not sure about the toll class of your vehicle, use the tool for determining the vehicle toll class or check the list of measured vehicles.
3. Enter a CORRECT validity start date for your e-vignette.
When an e-vignette becomes valid, you lose the right to withdraw from its purchase and the validity start date can no longer be postponed. Changing the registration number the e-vignette is linked to is also not possible in such a case.
Purchase at DARS points of sale
You can buy an e-vignette at any DARS point of sale (the DarsGo servis).
Customers must provide our employees with the following information:
- the toll class of the e-vignette that they wish to buy,,
- the e-vignette type (7-days, 1-month, semi-annual or annual) that they wish to buy,
- the country of registration and registration number of the vehicle for which they are buying the e-vignette, and
- start date of the e-vignette validity.
It is very important that the customer provides correct information to our employees. When the information has been entered into the system, the vendor will print a form to verify that the entered information is correct, and the customer must check and confirm that the information is correct by signing the form. An e-vignette is then created and the customer receives an invoice and proof of purchase.
